Founder & President:
David Hacman
David Hacman is the Founder and President of Hacman Financial, bringing extensive experience in automotive retail and M&A. Since 2021, he has been involved in transactions encompassing more than 100 dealerships with an aggregate value exceeding $6 billion.
​His most recent role was as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at a 20+ year automotive consulting firm. Today, David applies his expertise through Hacman Financial, guiding clients through every stage of the buy–sell process to achieve strategic growth while navigating complex deals with clarity and confidence.
Earlier in his career, David spent over 15 years at Asbury Automotive Group (NYSE: ABG), where he held a wide range of leadership roles, including Senior Director of M&A.
His tenure at Asbury included responsibilities in SEC reporting, corporate accounting, FP&A, national marketing, dealership sales and F&I, controllership, financial operations, treasury, real estate, capital projects, and corporate development.
Earlier in his career, David's experience included managing multiple commercial property accounts for Hines Interests LP, a globally recognized, privately held real estate investment firm with over $90 billion in assets under management (as of 2024). He also worked as an audit professional at Deloitte & Touche, the largest of the “Big Four” accounting firms by revenue, with more than 450,000 professionals worldwide. His audit experience spanned multiple offices including Miami, FL; Sacramento, CA; and Atlanta, GA.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lee University and an MBA from Southeastern University. He is a licensed and active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Georgia and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA).
